BacHelper allows users who sign in with Google
to request deletion of their account and
associated online data.
You can delete your account directly from the
app or contact us if you cannot access the app.

Delete Your Account from Inside the App
The easiest way to delete your BacHelper
account is directly from the application.

Open BacHelper
Launch the BacHelper application.

Open Settings
Go to the Settings section.

Select Delete Account Permanently
Tap the account deletion option.

Read the Warning
Review the information displayed
before continuing.

Confirm Deletion
Confirm the deletion request as
shown in the app.
Important:
After confirmation, BacHelper will attempt
to delete your Google-linked account data
and sign you out.

Request Account Deletion by Email
If you cannot access BacHelper, you can
request account deletion by contacting us.
Please include

The email address used to sign in with Google.

A clear request to delete your BacHelper account.
For security reasons, we may ask for
additional information to verify that you
own the account before processing the
deletion request.

Data Deleted When You Delete Your Account
When account deletion is requested,
BacHelper attempts to delete account-related
online data, including:
User Profile
Profile document, username, profile
photo URL, and study division stored
online.
Community Posts
Posts created by your account.
Uploaded Images
Images uploaded with your community
posts.
Comments & Replies
Comments and replies associated
with your account.
Follow Relationships
Follow relationships associated
with your account.
Community Notifications
Notifications related to your
community account.
Reports
Reports created by you, where
deletion is allowed.
Moderation Records
Ban or moderation records where
deletion is allowed by security
and moderation requirements.

Data That May Remain Temporarily
Some information may remain for a limited
period when necessary for:

Security and abuse prevention.

Moderation history.

Legal compliance.

Technical limitations.
-
Backup or logging systems managed by
third-party service providers.
Some content may also remain if it is not
technically possible to identify or delete
it immediately, or if it must be retained
to investigate abuse or protect other users.

Guest Users
Guest users do not have a Google-linked
BacHelper account.
Guest study data is stored locally on the device.
To delete guest data

Clear BacHelper app data from your device settings.

Or uninstall BacHelper from your device.
Local guest data may include study sessions,
reminders, lessons, notes, Pomodoro progress,
and app preferences.

Deleting Local Device Data
Deleting your Google-linked account removes
online account data where possible. Local
app data stored on your device may remain
until you clear it.
To remove local BacHelper data

Open device Settings
Open your Android device settings.

Go to Apps
Open the list of installed applications.

Select BacHelper
Open BacHelper's application settings.

Open Storage
Open the application's storage settings.

Clear Data or Uninstall
Clear the app data or uninstall BacHelper.
The exact steps may vary depending on your
Android device.

Third-Party Services
BacHelper uses Google Sign-In and Firebase
services. Some data may therefore be
processed by Google according to Google's
own privacy and retention policies.
